I'm just wondering now if it is worthwhile applying to another set of schools in R2.
i am sorry to hear about MIT~have you consider consulting with a consultant? It might be worth it to see what had gone wrong or what are the areas that you can improve. R2 is still viable, but I would suggest make some changes in your application. This season has been tough~ plus your applicant pool is always the most competitive...but I would not lose hope but really review your application strategy for the next step.
btw, thanks for your comment on my blog, I will also try my best and see what comes out for me in R2

Hey, I did use a consultant for my R1 apps. I'm trying to review my whole application again with him and see what went wrong.
I hope I could come up with a better app for R2
